Come rain or shine the wild beauty Dartmoor is timeless and unforgettable. This moorland gem offers intrigue with its lofty granite tors, infamous prison, folklore and inspiration for classic literature, like Conan Doyle’s ‘Hound of the Baskervilles.’ You’ll see all the highlights of the National Park of course, but also some of our favourite spots off the regular tourist trail, where you’ll be able to hear the stories of early Bronze age settlers over 5000 years ago and experience yourself the dramatic isolation Southern England’s last great wilderness. Finally you’ll meet a local family as guests on their working farm and tuck in to a traditional Devon cream tea.
